This situation is evolving rapidly, and we will be adapting our plans as we go. To ensure that all of you have easy access to the school’s updates on our COVID-19 response plan, we will be posting important updates on this Moodle forum.
We may also send information by email when appropriate, and you also be given additional instructions by faculty when you’re on campus.

Where to find the latest information
It is important that all students pay attention to the updates and recommendations provided by Alberta Health Services, Health Canada, and other government public health agencies.
Please ensure that you are following these recommendations. If you are experiencing symptoms, recently travelled outside of Canada, or were exposed to someone who has COVID-19, stay home and call 811 for instructions.
Students who exceed 5 full days’ absence due to self-isolation that is recommended by public health officials in Alberta or where they live will not be withdrawn from the program.
Per Alberta Health Services recommendations as of March 13, 2020, students who meet any of the following criteria should not come to class or clinic unless they have been cleared to do so by a public health professional:
- Student who've travelled outside of Canada within the last 14 days
- People who are experiencing symptoms (cough, fever, extreme fatigue, or difficulty breathing)
- People who have had contact with someone who has COVID-19

If public health guidelines require you to self-isolate, contact the school as soon as possible. We will work with you to create an individual accommodation plan based on your particular circumstances.Students who do not meet one those criteria should attend class or clinic as scheduled.
